FAQ: Should I use a professional marble maintenance company?

Excellent job. The crew was hardworking and easy to deal with. Our 28-year-old marble floors and vanities were restored to look like the day we bought the house when it was new.

Hassle-free service! I had a contractor remodel two bathrooms this past summer. Since the first small bath worked out great, I had him move ahead with the master bath, but I changed materials on him, 1/2″ thick marble in 3 different sizes, instead of regular tile. The marble tile floor turned out to be a challenge. The tiles were uneven, with a lot of lippage and sharp edges on the end results. Marble Doctor to the rescue! They came, saw, gave me a quote, then patiently waited for me to decide. That allowed me to compare prices. They gave me the better deal, so we scheduled a date. They showed up on time and got to work immediately and efficiently, with no mess left behind. The results were better than I expected. I now have the floor I envisioned, silky smooth, even marble floors! 🙂

We had a very small residential job in DC – a powder room with onyx tiles. It had been damaged by a cleaning company that used some cleaner that ate the finish. We had installed it 12 years ago and it had dulled over time and under the influence of many children who are not good at aiming. Jose did a great job and now it’s beautiful! Back to what it looked like when we moved in! Amazing. I’m so excited about it!

I had a deep, unsightly stain on my quartzite bathroom counter caused by caustic toilet cleaner that had dripped down the side of the bottle. The Marble Doctor specialists took two hours to carefully remove the stain and re-polish the area. The result was better than I hoped for — there is no depression or remaining stain and the area is just as polished and shiny as its surroundings. It’s as if it never happened.
